I'm Zack Williams, I'm currently working as a Software Engineer for Tech Wizards Inc, which is based out of
King George, VA. We develop and support multiple applications and tools for the US Navy and to learn more about the
different projects Tech Wizards has created and currently supports, and the company in general, click the
"About Tech Wizards" button below.
I currently work as a Software Engineer, utilizing Unity and C#, to work on various Training Simulator tools (referred to as
STAVE-CS) for a variety of components aboard select Navy vessels. The training simulations are designed to provide high fidelity
emulations to allow sailors to be able to perform various tasks and maintenance on components that may not be
present on training sites and/or have high impact to combat readiness or other risks.
Prior to working on Unity/C#, I worked for over five years as a full-stack developer and technical lead for three of
those years, on Angular web application that acted as a budgeting, invoicing, and data aggregation and reporting tool,
which is developed using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, C#, and SQL. This tool handles the creation and maintenance
of invoices, managing contract agreements including and data related to the contract, generating reports
to view various financial data, and allowing monthly planning for individual contracts for the end users.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and our pets, going to the gym, hiking, playing card games, and reading!
